Esther, I don't think that SQSP Analytics is accurate when used in conjunction with Google Analytics. It doesn't correlate with the data I personally see out of Google most of the time. That's my opinion.

My bounce rate has been going up dramatically as my Blog posts are being picked up by Google and ranking in the first page. I get lots of traffic to my Blogs, but apparently they are leaving after reading the posts. Is there any correlation between the new traffic to my posts and the higher bounce rates I'm seeing, some as high as 98 percent!! Any suggestions... and yes I'm still working in 7.0 for the moment. Also, I use Google Analytics and wonder if SQSP analytics is no longer accurate???

The website arrowserviceteam.com has a fantastic amount of content. The biggest issue I see is your content/background overflows the border on a desktop screen (imac 27 inch). When I Google arrowserviceteam.com on a smart phone it doesn't land on your desktop homepage. Maybe that's intentional. Good job with the great consumer information... you might want to consider less is better because there's so much content that is almost overwhelming. Some people would love to have that problem.
But again, the Home page needs to be resized/tweaked to fit in the parameters of a desktop screen. It may be shifting in Fluid Engine. Not absolutely sure since my own site is still in 7.0.
Lastly, if you are going to use an image in the header/banner area (png) be sure it's high res. I attached the issue here... some of the words are cut off and it's pixelated a bit. Not sure if again it's a SQSP template issue or not. But there's definitely a problem with that png file. Hope that helps you.

You have mad art skills. There's zero problems with your talent. However, like the response from AnimoInnovations I get lost in your site. There's simply too much in every direction—from font to graphics. I focused in on your animated teary eye work... love to see that as your main image covering the site side to side. Maybe with the word enter... like you are going to take a user on a journey. Not sure how you accomplish it, but that's where I gravitated to immediately. I have the same problem with my 7.0 site, which I need to resolve quickly. Again I agree that Navigation is an issue... but it is fixable. The header is too large, too much white space... no need for it. Your art work needs to drive the site period, not the menu. Hope this helped.

I enjoyed your site. The only critique I have is that I'm not sure what it is you are selling... your service or your artwork. If both, maybe you should have a clear distinction on the Home page. I kind of got confused as to where I was navigating. Again, your work isn't the problem... I think it is your navigation and mission statement of what you are telling visitors. I'm working on my site as well... still stuck in 7.0 at the moment. I get a lot of traffic to my blogs, but I also have a super high bounce rate. I have to work on things... hope this helps.

The workspace feature for personalized email addresses is confusing and SQSP isn't much help. I attempted to create an account only to find it too frustrating and cancelled it. Later I was informed that I would not get a refund even though only an hour had passed since signing up. I believe if you paid for a year you have 15 days to cancel for a refund, good luck.

Hi,
It seems that most of my blog post are not being indexed by google. I have submitted my sitemap and I have also submitted each page manually. I talked to two squarespace support agents and they basically just pointed me to an article that doesn't help. My pages are all set to public and there is no code injected on the site that would set it to no index. I would contact google but it's almost impossible to reach a real person. Anyone know what could be going on?

Is that feature only on 7.1? I don't see that feature on 7.0. Thanks

I noticed in the blog post settings, under 'share' in the options, there is a toggle to submit the posts to Google Search Console. I turned that on and will retest my site tomorrow after requesting another pass at indexing. I notice it's doing this on my products, too... but I will have to see if that is controlled elsewhere as I'm provided a different set of options for the individual products.
How to Lower Bounce Rate

Google doesn't rely on bounce rate either, nor does it have a stat on it any longer. I believe bounce is being bounced out of existence as far as SEO goes. Again, my two cents.
