I have had a few clients who are bloggers and make their money off of their blog and their community reach out about switching to 7.1 (they have had suggestions from their ad companies to do so, and want the new features).
WIth the Square Websites extension we can get the posts themselves into 7.1, but you lose all comments. It's a no-go for so many that have created a true community around their sites... Since it's going on 3 years without an ability to switch from squarespace from platform to platform, what are your thoughts...
1. Is it worth losing all that? (think 1-3 posts per week for 4-7 years) with about 3-10 comments PER POST.
2. Do you stick it out on 7.0? Hope that one day they offer the ability to keep your data and upgrade your site?
Thoughts? Solutions?
