tigernate9
Hi there I just want to add a black offset drop shadow to my H1 text on my homepage with this code: text-shadow: 5px 5px #000000; My site is sumospice.com Sorry I'm pretty new to SquareSpace and can't figure out how to insert just this snippet of code without having to rewrite the code for the entire page. Can someone help? Thanks! Edited June 25 by tigernate9 didn't finish Link to comment
Solution Lesum Posted June 25 Solution Share Posted June 25 @tigernate9 Hi! Navigate to Website > Pages > Website Tools > Custom CSS and add this code: .homepage h1 { text-shadow: 5px 5px #000000; } If my comments were useful, please like or mark my solution as answer so others can scroll to it quickly. tigernate9
so now I have a new problem 🙂 How would I turn it OFF on just one page? I added the shadow to all of my h1 and h2 headings sitewide, and they look great, except the Blog page is using h2 classification for the titles, which looks bad: https://www.sumospice.com/blog is there a way to turn these off on just this one page? Lesum
@tigernate9 Hi! You can add this code to remove the text shadow from blog titles: .blog-basic-grid .blog-title { text-shadow: none !important; } If my comments were useful, please like or mark my solution as answer so others can scroll to it quickly.
