Removing hyperlink line

Hello!

I have just taken delivery of my new Squarespace website and I am wanting to make a few tweeks. I especially want to remove the hyperlink underline but not the link itself. 

The text is in a text block and is set to Heading 3. I have added this code to both the Custom CSS and the Page Header Code Injection with no luck:

h3 a {
text-decoration: none !important;
}
 

Is is failing because the page could be a cover page?

Any help / suggestions would be gratefully received.
