List Background Color Change & Margins

Hello,
I'm using the List feature with Title only. How can I change so that each column here has a different background color?
For the margins, how can I make it so that there no margins on the far sides of the website on this section only. And even though I have the margin underneath the list set to 0 there is still show ing space. How do I get rid of it? Thanks so much.
