I have a t-shirt store that I'm setting up.  I have 5 colors on each shirt.  So Black, Royal, Navy, Charcoal and White.  I have S-3XL for each style.  So, when I setup images to change as a variant, I have to select each one individually.  Is it possible to have the same image setup for just one variant like the color?  The image is the same no matter what size is selected.  It'd be great to assign ONE picture for Royal and ONE for black etc.  Does that make sense?  It's very time consuming as I'm setting up my shop.

I'm looking for a solution to the same problem. Liisa, have you figured out a solution yet?

    Hi,
I've spotted a couple of similar posts but I'm not sure whether the suggestions have worked so...
I have a several variant options for products, which means there are vast numbers of combinations that can be put together by the customer. When adding a variant image for a specific combination it automatically appears in the product image thumbnails. I want to hide them from there so that the image only appears when that combination of variants is selected. Otherwise I could end up with a carousel containing hundreds of images.
Squarespace have confirmed there is no current way of hiding these variant images so I imagine I need to add some code to make it possible. Has anyone managed to make this work? My site isn't live yet so I can't show examples. I am using the MARU template.
This is my first time using Squarespace and my knowledge of coding is limited so if someone is able to help, please also provide as much information as possible as to how to add the code etc.
    Thanks in advance

I have some products with over 70 possible variations.
I'm wondering if it's possible to have a stacked gallery that only displays a few "select" images with the rest of the images hidden. When the customer selects their desired variants the relevant image is displayed?
I know the obvious choice is to use a carousel gallery but I like the look of the stacked gallery.
