I'm having trouble formatting my header. When scrolling through my website, the header does not overlap some of the website content (some buttons and images. I've included a photo as an example. How can I fix this?

I've installed the typewriter effect with Ninja Kit for my website but whenever I try to apply it to text, it doesn't display the animation on the page. Not sure what the issue is. I've included the code below.
