Use this new code
@media screen and (min-width:992px) { [data-section-id="624a6f5e8ddad257b3c5b093"] { padding-top: 170px !Important; } } @media screen and (max-width:990px) { [data-section-id="624a6f5e8ddad257b3c5b093"] { padding-top: 60px !Important; } }
Alas no, that just made it worse - see attached screenshots. Grateful for any more ideas you might have. Thanks!

Add to Design > Custom CSS
div.header-nav-item:before { content: ""; position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 5px; background-color: green; border-radius: 10px; } div.header-nav-item { position: relative; } div.header-nav-item:nth-child(2):before { background-color: violet; } div.header-nav-item:nth-child(3):before { background-color: green; } div.header-nav-item:nth-child(4):before { background-color: red; } div.header-nav-item:nth-child(5):before { background-color: #f1f; } div.header-nav-item:nth-child(6):before { background-color: #ececec; }
Thank you, that works and I can see how to change the colours. Is there any way to have the line appear under the navigation items, instead of above them?

Thanks, that worked on desktop, but see attached screenshot for what happens on mobile. Could you advise how to fix this on mobile too?

Try adding a blank section above Blue section, then set it minimum height

The section has a default top padding
You try adding a blank section above blue section, set minium height, then check it again
@tuanphanSorry, I tried that but it didn't work. Do you have any CSS that can override the default top padding?

I'm looking for a CSS code snippet to ensure the first section on most of my pages has text aligning vertically against the coloured background, even when I set section height to 18 to make it narrower (I have no idea why setting it to 18 makes it narrower than setting it to the default of 10, but it does).
SS help says it's a bug and to ask on here for code to override the bottom padding.
Can anyone help?

Hi there, I've run into a SquareSpace bug that needs custom code to override it until it's fixed.
This is an example: https://pepper-pelican-gr94.squarespace.com/training

Screenshot also attached.
When I manually change the padding using the slider at section level, the bottom padding is not even.
SS says it needs to: 'use custom CSS to override the 17px of bottom-padding' while they fix the bug.
From another forum post I think I need to override it by setting the padding value for each section by adding to Home > Design > Custom Css?
Hoping someone can help me out!

This is looking promising as a fix for my issue - which is that on certain sections I want to override a padding error - when I manually change the padding using the slider at section level, the bottom padding is not even. Screenshot attached.
Rather than applying this code for individual blocks, I'd like to apply it to certain sections. Can anyone help with the code for that?

Hi, I would like to add this effect where when you hover over the navigation menu, a different coloured bar appears for each one like on this site: https://museumofvancouver.ca/
- which I can see is a customised SquareSpace site.
Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks but I've adjusted the 170 and 60 px numbers to all different values and the appearance doesn't change? Grateful for any more explanation, thanks.
