I notified Squarespace of this issue and they said they are aware of it , but have no intention of fixing it. I found that if I set the image to "fit" instead of fill, and then aligned it vertically that it solved the issue. If you want a custom shape for you image then you can create a .png of it and use that instead of depending on Squarespace for shape/framing.

Thank you! That worked perfectly!

Managed it and thought I'd share my solution for anyone else dealing with this.
I did a blank image section, set the row count to one, both gaps to zero, the height to one, deleted the default image, and set the background to the same color as my header background.
Then I identified the section id and inserted this bit of code on page's advanced settings:
<style>
[data-section-id="your section id number"]>.content-wrapper {
height: 0 !important;
padding: 0 !important;
}
</style> -
How can I go about adding a link to a terms of use page within a form block? I need users to be able to check that they've read and consent to the terms.

Has anyone found a way to stop the site header from covering up part of a first section background video?
Gallery Slideshow Transitions
in Customize with code

Is this possible to do with slideshow gallery blocks? The transitions are so harsh.
