  1. bit of a web noob here 👋but have a lot of python experience.

Within SquareSpace, is it possible to cycle between a random 'array' of backgrounds when the user clicks within a particular region? My idea is that the user will keep clicking the homepage, then get a handful of randomized cycling backgrounds each time they click.

Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance!

  2. Hi!

I'm trying to use a gif with a white background to seamlessly integrate with a white site background. Unfortunately, when I upload to squarespace, the gif gamma shifts white to gray, meaning my seamless background is no longer seamless.

Here's a screenshot: White background with very extreme gray shift on white gif.

My suspicion is that this occurs during a re-encode of the .gif on squarespace's backend, and the settings on this module are a little 'off'.

Is there a way to either

    1. bypass this gif resize step?

    2. force the re-encode settings on the resize step?

    Thank you!
