For a FB verification I need to add a .txt file to the root. I've tried the workarounds mentioned here but those don't work as the redirects don't respond. Is there another option? Thanks

Hi,
On our website we want to directly send our visitors to certain content on our app, therefore I was told I need to add a file to the root server and also some code in the .htaccess file. Since I don't think this is possible with Squarespace, is there a workaround possible?
