    Search Functionality for Directory Website

    I am working on a quote for an online directory. Here is the link to their current site (created in Wordpress). https://denmarkchamber.com.au/
    The focus for their new site will be on the directory itself. I was thinking of setting it up as a blog and categorising each advertiser into industry.
    I have spoken to two Squarespace designers (for advice) but got mixed feedback so I am reaching out here in the hope I can get more clarification before I send the quote through.
    My main concern is the search functionality.
    Q1 Does Squarespace's search bar have the functionality to support something like this? There are 300 advertisers.
    Q2 If no, are there any plugins you know of/have used that we could use instead?

    Is there a way to change the date configuration so its Day/Month not the nth American style of Month/Day. I understand this can't be done at check out? But is there a plug in that we can get? A calendar style one? (I've never used one, but I making an assumption that this might be something that could work?) 

     

    It very confusing for us Aussies! 😆
