How to create animated text, as on the Squarespace.com front page?

On the front page of Squarespace, there is animated text at the moment:

Make it beautiful.Make it loud.Make it tasteful.etc. etc.

What's the simplest way to do something similar on my own website? Is it done with js or css or something else?
