HelloMammoth Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 I'm looking for a way to make my header transparent only on my homescreen. Unfortunately, there is no option to keep the header transparent when over images, so I'm left leaving it as a solid color on every page, or transparent on every page (which means it can't be seen with my current colors). Does anyone know how to solve this? I'd appreciate the help. Site: link textPassword: Hellomammoth821!
conradseto Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Are you using Custom Code Injection? If so, the styling will take place on all pages. To have styling only affect a certain page, place the code in its own page header. <style> .ancillary-header-primary-nav-position-bottom-right.has-primary-nav .Header--bottom { background: none !important; } </style> If the above code is working, then follow the directions here in the section "Per-page Code Injection." https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205815908-Using-Code-Injection
delaat Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 HI Conrads- I am trying to achieve the same- tried your code but it is not doing anything? any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thank you so much
ppaglialonga Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 I'm having the exact same issue. There is a note that Custom CSS does not apply to Cover Pages and I think that is the issue. There has to be a good work around... Let me know if you have figured out something.
