Wordpress vs SquareSpace for SEO

Hi, I have a client who has a SquareSpace site. He is on page 2 or 3 for his desired keywords, and I had him chat with an SEO person I've been chatting with on the phone and through email.

He spoke with my client and said a WP site would be a big advantage. Is that true? Can it make that much of a difference? 

WP & SS do just fine. While WP has more options via Plugins and other SEO options I would say SS still gets it done. Three months ago my site was on the 3 & 4th pages of Google when searching for 'free acrylic painting tutorials'. I went to work on my SEO immediately and now I rank #2 on the first page. I also rand 2-4 on many other keywords & phrases so I can say from experience SS does well if you have the content & know how to use it's SEO features. Another thing that influences SEO is the Users & if they are sharing links to your website on their Blogs, Social media etc. If you have the content they will come & they will share.

One important thing about SEO I want to tell you that I doesn't matters which platform you are using. It may WordPress or Squarespace the maximum SEO work are same for all types of websites. It is true that WordPress has some feature to make seo easy, You can read them on indreshraja.com . But the bigger factors in SEO are not cms dependent.
