dgxlii
Hi. I am currently using the Charlotte template and need to add a button block on my homepage similar to the button block featured on the Bedford template here: http://bedford-demo.squarespace.com/ I am using a Gallery block (carousel with only one image) as the first content block on my homepage. I have successfully added a text link that overlays on the first image of the Gallery, but I cannot convert the text image into a button. This is the website: http://www.grandestadventure.com/. In short terms- I need to convert the text link RSVP on the homepage into a button block. Thanks! DG Link to comment

jeng
This guide here can help with adding text to banner image areas and special banner types. For example, adding a button to the Bedford template banner: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206545097 For Charlotte specifically, you'll want to create an Index Page, and then within that Index Page add a Regular Page. The Regular Page should have a thumbnail image on it to act as the banner, then when you edit the page, add a Button Block. The other pages can be placed within the index to make it look like a single page. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205816088 Link to comment
