simplyadammann
We are going to run AdWords for a site, and want to track conversions. I was given code from Google (which I'd paste here but it appears screwy, but it's javascript), and was instructed to put it on the order confirmation page (or whatever page is last after completing the purchase). I cannot seem to figure out where to paste the code. Note we already have setup our general Google Analytics tracking in the external services settings, but this code is specific for AdWords. Any ideas where I'm supposed to paste the code? Link to comment
e2astudio
Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Code Injection and scroll to the bottom text field. This is for the Order Confirmation page. Use your AdWords script here. Link to comment

obkommy
Google requires this code be placed in the body tags, not the footer. When adding the code under Settings>Advanced>Order Confirmation Page and hitting save, Google Tag Manager shows 3 errors: Conversion label not set. No HTTP response detectedCode found outside of body tag. Link to comment
quikilr
Is there a follow up to this? As obkommy stated below, google requires this code to be placed between the body tags, not in the footer. I hope that this is possible without going into Developer mode. I would expect this to be a common request. Link to comment
Blades
Hi all - I am having the same issue, Google requires it in the body and Google Tag Assistant is showing an error using the above solution.... Anyone have the correct solution please? Link to comment
