How do I remove the navigation word from the photo on the main page of the site. For example if use the FIVE template and have a navigation link at the top of the page (home) , on the main photo, it says home in the middle of the photo. Not wanted.

Unfortunately, that also removes the description text.

How can I keep the description text yet just remove the Title?

I don't want to name the page with a pithy phrase, but I want to have the description be a sentence or two that displays across the image in the Banner.

Never took any classes. School of necessity. Building wordpress sites in the early 2000's taught me what I know.

I'd like to know how to do this as well. I'd like to have the Page Title text to appear in the tab/browser window and for the description to appear on the banner. I'd also like to be able to change this per page as on some pages I don't want any text on the banner - seems pretty inflexible!

To remove banner from a single page: Click the gear on desired page, then nav over to the "Advanced" tab and insert this code: #banner-area-wrapper { display: none; } Of course make sure to wrap with a style tag.
