dante
I’m currently on the Shift template and I’m unsure how to connect or “activate” the parallax images to show on the homepage, similar to the demo found here > http://www.squarespace.com/templates/?q=shift Those individual elements show in my pages section, but do not currently show when i view my homepage. Unfortunately my site is under construction, so it’s locked down at the moment with password protect. Anyone have any ideas? Link to comment
mikeyryan
Do you mean that you don't see the parallax images when you click on the home index folder? I get this fairly regularly and refreshing the browser fixes this up for me. Link to comment

ArminB
I had this once that when you directly enter the link of (in your example) "RIDE" than this site was separated from the parallax connection of those 5 sites. But I'm sure that's not the problem? did you place the background-images as "Thumbnail-images" other reason could be that the images are to big and maybe CMYK? you could also switch the template to another one, and switch again to yours. Then you get the example pages from the template you can compare with your own pages hope that helps! llogan
The Shift template uses Index Pages to create a parallax scrolling effect, which provides the illusion that the page is scrolling past the images faster than it actually does. There is more about this here: Shift Index Pages I would suggest getting in touch with Squarespace Customer Care for more information or assistance with setting this up: Contact Customer Care Link to comment
