DarioDiMaggio Posted November 25 Posted November 25 (edited) Site URL: https://ddm-studio.com/wedding-gallery-delivery Hi everyone, Can anyone help me to make a section of this page only sticky? The section I am referring to is "fake header" I created underneath the intro photo on top. The section where you can read "Preparazione", "Esterni" etc. I tried different css coding but without any success. Thank you Dario Edited November 25 by DarioDiMaggio
Solution katycarlisle Posted November 26 Solution Posted November 26 Try adding this to your custom CSS: /* Sticky fake header */ section[data-section-id="674463d53d7bd26b6b7051ee"] { position: sticky; top: 0; z-index: 10; } DarioDiMaggio 1 Oh hey! DarioDiMaggio Posted November 26 Author Posted November 26 (edited) Thank you very much Katy! It worked. Now I am dealing with a squarespace issue for duplicating the gallery, but I get the 500 error which doesn't allow me to do it. So annoying! Edited November 26 by DarioDiMaggio mispelling
katycarlisle Posted November 26 Posted November 26 That page URL doesn't seem to exist any more so I don't know if you've disabled it for now? I've not come across that specific error before but sometimes reloading the page can help. If not then try using a different browser (or private browsing mode) and see if that lets you duplicate the page. If this doesn't work then I would recommend contacting customer support outlining the steps you've already taken and including that screenshot. Also a workaround you can save each section on the original page, then create a new page and insert each saved section to rebuild the page. DarioDiMaggio 1 Oh hey! DarioDiMaggio Posted November 27 Author Posted November 27 That's an awesome workaround tip, thank you Katy. I figured out the reason with customer care. Apparently I can have as many galleries as I want in a single page, however each gallery has a limit to 249 images each. Therefore, I created more galleries keeping the number lower than 249 and doing so I managed to duplicate the page. This might be helpful for other people. katycarlisle 1
katycarlisle Posted November 27 Posted November 27 That is helpful and I wasn't aware of that limitation so thanks for sharing! Oh hey!
