Ilaria Posted November 23 Posted November 23 Hello everyone, I noticed that despite all the images on my website being compressed, my SEO score was surprisingly low due to oversized images. Upon investigation, I discovered that Squarespace significantly increases their size upon upload. I searched online for a solution but found nothing. Has anyone successfully resolved this issue before? Thank you! Beyondspace 1

Ilaria Posted November 26 Author Posted November 26 @Beyondspace The format with the most significant size variation is .png, as I require the image to feature a transparent background. While jpeg images show a smaller difference, they still increase in size and impact my SEO.
