Using the Lightbox Studio plugin for Squarespace, how do I get the images in a Slideshow Reel carousel to open the lightbox at the correct corresponding image when clicked?

Hi there,

I recently purchased a Squarespace plugin called Lightbox Studio for a client website and have had some trouble figuring out how to correctly link the images from the Slideshow gallery to the correct corresponding lightbox images.

Using the Squarespace Slideshow Reel block, we were hoping to create an image carousel and have the images clickable to expand in lightbox view. I managed to get that to work, however the lightbox only ever shows the first image from the gallery regardless of which image in the carousel you click on. Therefore when there are say 20 images the user experience feels a bit wonky when you click image 12 for example and then have to scroll through the images to find image 12 from image 1. I'm assuming the workaround for this is to create 20 separate gallery pages each containing the same gallery contents, then the link for each image shows the lightbox for that specific gallery relevant to that image. However that doesn't present a particularly appealing solution for my client who wants to very simply add an image to the gallery from time to time.

If there's a fix for this issue I'd love to get some help but I couldn't find anything in the Lightbox Studio documentation or the forums that might solve it.

Hey I got your enquiry via email and will check the issue, as far as I know, enable lightbox for reel is handy and should not cause any trouble since site like this is working just fine

Update: I think I found the root cause, on the Reel gallery section you are inserting Lightboxify URLs from the same source gallery, making the slides open the same lightbox gallery, so it always display the first slide of that gallery. This is expected
