Can't turn off "Quanity for services" in Checkout settings

I'm not sure if there's a bug or if there's another dependency here, but whenever I try to turn off the toggle in Checkout settings for "Quantity for services" it is turned back on when I come back to the page. There doesn't appear to be a 'save' button anywhere, so I'm not sure how else to save this change, but I keep trying to turn it off and it keeps being on. Any suggestions?

Also, does this function actually limit someone from purchasing more than one of that service in an order? or does it just make the process more difficult by hiding the quantity field?

When you change the setting, it should be saved automatically and a "Changes saved" popup should appear to reassure you:

I checked and it is working correctly for me at the moment, so this may be specific to your browser or your site. To troubleshoot this, you may want to try using another browser or, if you have used any custom code, remove it and see if this resolves the issue.

In answer to how this works, it prevents a user adding more than one service at a time by removing the quantity field at all stages of the purchase workflow - product page, cart page and checkout.

A user can still add more than one of the same service to the cart, but the benefit is that, if you are using a Custom Product Form to ask about custom engraving, or to ask who is enrolling on a course, the user must complete a new form each time the service is added to the cart.

Squarespace support reached out, this is the solution that worked for anyone else that needs it:

 1. Log into your Squarespace site
 2. Navigate to Settings (cog icon) > Selling > Cart > Select a page for the "Continue Shopping" link (screenshot)
 3. Save the changes
 4. Once this is defined, access the "Checkout" option (screenshot) to toggle off the "Quantity for services" setting
