Pip1 Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Hello, I'm not sure if I'm on the right thread for this but I'm wondering if anybody can help, I want to sell craft beer cans online through my e-commerce site, I need to add the deposit Return Scheme Tax to the cans I sell, it's something we have in Ireland now, it's 0.15c per can, is there a way this can be calculated at the checkout on specific products or do I just have to include it the price? So if the can is €3.50 +0.15 Deposit scheme Fee it will be sold at €3.65 or can I show the breakdown of the charge on the checkout page? €3.50 +0.15 €3.65 Ive attached a screenshot of how it looks on another website just for reference Any help would be greatly appreciated Pip

If you're referring to the Re-turn scheme, I don't believe Squarespace is compliant with this. As I understand it, the cost of the deposit must be shown separately underneath the main pricing on product pages, cart pages and as a separate line on the checkout page. There isn't any functionality in Squarespace to allow this yet so I think your only option is to include this in the price or add a message like (includes Deposit) under prices. Did this help? Pip1 Posted November 20 Author Posted November 20 Thanks for the reply @paul2009, yes that's the Re-turn scheme, I'll work with it as a full-price option instead.👍 paul2009 1
