laura5 Posted November 19 Posted November 19 (edited) Site URL: https://www.goinsidestory.com I've never had this happen before: I'm building a site for a client who's viewing it on her PC in Microsoft Edge and Chrome and the left and right margins are way different (content more centered with very wide margins left and right) from what I'm seeing on my Mac in every browser I try. Here's a screenshot to show what's happening on her computer. Any ideas?! Much thanks in advance! Edited November 19 by laura5

Hi @laura5 the site margin for the website is quite narrow, at 1200px max. What this means is your website content is restricted to a maximum of 1200px width. I'm assuming your client has a wide screen or has the browser zoom out (< 100%). Therefore the content (e.g. text) is squished at the 1200px width, whilst the rest of the website is much wider. You can try setting the max page width to 1400px as a minimum. Site Styles (paint brush icon) > Miscellaneous > Spacing > Page Width (Max) Let me know how it goes. -------- > 👆 <---------- Please quote or @ me when replying, or I won't get a notification Melody | Squarespace Nerd 💻 💁♀️ 1-2-1 Squarespace Training session <- feeling stuck and want to learn? 👩💻 💁♀️ Website help <- send me your to-do list.
