Sitemap not reading and pages not indexing

Hi all, I'm having trouble getting my new website onto google. For some reason the sitemap cannot be read and the pages aren't getting indexed. 

Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening? My site and the domain name are both through Squarespace.

Have you added the website as a domain property on GSC?

Hi Ziggy, yes, I have. It seems the main homepage is indexed but for the other pages it's giving the errors (see attached).

It's quite normal to have "pages with redirects" and "duplicate, different canonical" pages. For example; your homepage is at two URLs notaweddingphotographer.eu/ and notaweddingphotographer.eu/home so you don't want Google indexing both.

Thanks. So should I submit one of these for URL removal? Which one is Google choosing? I can't see any additional info on that. At the moment there's only a single page of my site being indexed despite there being five pages.

No, Google is already doing this, you can check by looking at the pages listed as not indexed under reasons.

Try removing those sitemaps that aren't correct and submit again with this URL:

https://notaweddingphotographer.eu/sitemap.xml

Odd, I'm not sure what's going on there, I don't think I can diagnose this remotely.

Hi @ianholmes you should see more details if you click into that sitemap.
