Change alignment of header image

I would like to shift the custom header photo of my website slightly to the left so the navigation menu isn't covered by the boat of the same color. How can I do this with custom css?

Hello, @MadisonBeal, That approach might not work well in the long run. Even if you move the element slightly to the left, as the screen size decreases, it will eventually overlap the boat again. I recommend either changing the image entirely or using Squarespace's standard header with a background. A semi-transparent background could be a good option, as it would ensure better visibility without compromising the design.
