Burke Template - Customize Gallery Block Title, add Description, And hover

Hi! 

I'm trying to add a Gallery block in the Burke template and I want to do the following:

Caption title is Artist, Title of work (in italics) either on 1 line or 2 (I realize 2 lines may be difficult, is this even possible?)

OR

Can this be 2 lines in the description, and somehow I make the description visible and not the caption title?

And last, is there a way to make a hover action on each Gallery image? I want them each to open to a separate page with more photos of each artwork and want some way to register it is a link when people hover over it.
