Reallyher Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Hello, I need my meta image to be a dynamic link as it will change daily. I've got this working on AWS lambda, but when I use code inject and update the og:image, slack doesn't pick it up and will not post the image to slack at all. I have even tried hardcoding an image link and slack will not pick it up. Example of my hardcoded meta image data: <meta property="og:image" content="https://imgur.com/FxF31ba" /> and the logs from slacks unfurl debugger: Request to fetch https://cyan-aardvark-7kb7.squarespace.com/boards/index returned HTTP 206 Type of resource is text or HTML Found data in meta tags Please help, I'm going crazy!

If you want to pull from that location, then try this link: <meta property="og:image" content="https://i.imgur.com/FxF31ba.png" /> Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! This is generally muddy as a problem and linked heavily to cache so can be really difficult to get an image to pull through correctly and even worse to try and replace. I don't believe that Slack has a tool for scraping posts, but LinkedIn does: https://www.linkedin.com/post-inspector/ Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers!
