Store Category Page H1 Customization

Hi there,

I'm in process of deciding whether to move my site to Squarespace or a different eComm platform. Something that stumped me is the ability or inability to customize heading text in category or subcategory pages in Squarespace.

To be more specific, let's say my store is as follows for collections/categories/products:

mysite.com/shop
mysite.com/shop/rooms
mysite.com/shop/rooms/living-room
mysite.com/shop/
p/living-toom-sofa

...And I want to be able to change the H1 heading text on my /rooms and /living-room pages, since Squarespace
automatically creates a collection page for each category/sub-category name is this possible to do? I want to be able to have distinct H1's for each category and subcategory while the filter does its thing.

Ikea also follows a similar URL structure to what Squarespace uses now but their categories and sub categories have different H1s.

https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/rooms/bedroom/
https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/rooms/living-room/gallery/stylish-earth-tone-colour-living-room-pub955de3e0

...or would I need to actually create individual pages vs using the categories on Squarespace. If it's not possible, that's odd but would like to know before moving forward with Squarespace or not.

According to this thread it's not possible but wondering it that's changed.

Thank you!

@tuanphan yes please share the code and how to apply it.

It's very odd that Squarespace doesn't let us customize them.

Also, is it possible to just create pages and use filters on those pages as a workaround?

Thanks again!

Yes. You can create a standard page, so you can customize it as what you want

To pull products to this page, you can use Summary Block

The standard page doesn't seem to work with the URL structure I have in mind i.e.

category page > sub category > product url

Can you post the code you mentioned so I can try that out instead? This is a massive oversight on Squarespace's part. Makes ranking collection pages near impossible without ability to modify it in the builder.
