Secure document sharing

Hello SS community!  I have an inquiry from an accounting firm that would like to know if SS is capable of secure document sharing?  I have read some details on creating a password protected page for document uploads.  But these are very sensitive tax documents...is SS capable of providing the security needed for clients to upload sensitive documents to a site?  Is there a third party application that would be able to offer something like this?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @hollykdesign. Do not use Squarespace for this. Look into something like ShareFile or similar.

Thank you @Collaborada!  I will look into that.  Would ShareFile or similar be able to be accessed from a Squarespace website (link, css, etc...) or are these programs designed to be used with email?

Hi @hollykdesign. Yes you can link to any external program as needed. If you are asking about embedding a form or portal, many 3rd party platforms make it easy with code snippets. The CPA firm will want to be involved in the software selection process at some point, as they will be interacting with that platform more than Sqsp.
