Issue with site populating

For some reason my site is not connecting to my custom domaine. (It was originally purchased through Google Domain and now with Squarespace). I keep getting a "under construction" page. Has this happened to anyone else? I updated all the DNS information last night around 4pm ET. It is now 10:30am ET the following day. Does it really take 24-48 hours? 

Can I create a redirect from the built-in domain to the custom domain as a workaround? 

Usually, when this under-construction page shows up with a Squarespace domain and website, it is because the DNS defaults may look right but they are not connected. Starting over usually repairs this right away. 

Go here first: https://account.squarespace.com/domains choose domain then DNS and delete the defaults using the red trash can icon. 

Then go to your website configuration, click the gear icon at the bottom, then domains/email, then domain on the right side, choose use a domain I own, and follow the prompts from there. 

Right now, the DNS Propagation Checker indicates all of the A records are connected.

Are these the defaults you are referring to that should be deleted and added again?

The site is still not up. Will a tool like Cloudflare help speed this along? This site needs to be up immediately. 

Okay, I added them as custom records. 

Would hiring a squarespace expert work to complete this faster? It is still not live.

This is a squarespace domain. (It was part of the Google domain acquisition.)

It is working both with and without the www. You are welcome. 

I'm having the same issue. I added the missing records as custom records, but I think it's still giving me trouble (it always worked for me, but not others). Does it just take time to get up and running?

It appears you have repaired it both with and without the www.
