Paoletta Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Site URL: https://dragonfly-koi-pbjx.squarespace.com/config/pages/website-tools/custom-css Dear All, A recurring theme... I have tried all possible code but I always get an error on the syntax. I am currently using this code to add a second button on the Header. HOWEVER, it pops on the left hand side of the Header vs. I want a new button on the Right hand called "BUY" side next to "BOOK". How do I solve this? div.header-nav-item:last-child>a { background-color: #360A05; font: 16px Poppins; color: #FFFFFF !important; padding-left: 24px; padding-right: 24px; padding-top: 9.6px; padding-bottom: 9.6px; border-radius: 115px; text-decoration:none; }

Paoletta Posted October 16 Author Posted October 16 Hi @Spark-Plugin here is my password Squarespace44!
Paoletta Posted October 16 Author Posted October 16 The codes in the article provided don't work. I always get some sort of error in the syntax. Thanks a lot too for this! I have been stuck here for the last hour
Spark-Plugin Posted October 16 Posted October 16 @Paoletta, you can also check this blog post, I tested on my website and it works: https://schwartz-edmisten.com/blog/adding-a-second-header-button-with-chatgpt - Let me know if it works for you:) - Answered by Iuno from sparkplugin.com
Paoletta Posted October 16 Author Posted October 16 @Spark-Plugin I have tried it already too multiple times but it keeps on giving me a syntax error for some reason 🙏🏼
Spark-Plugin Posted October 17 Posted October 17 @Paoletta,If it’s giving you a syntax error, there’s likely a small mistake somewhere in the code. The code I provided works well, as I’ve tested it. Are you using any other custom code on your website? If so, try removing it temporarily, save the old code in a Google Doc or something similar, and then add only the code I provided to see if it works properly. Let me know how it goes! - Answered by Iuno from sparkplugin.com
Paoletta Posted October 17 Author Posted October 17 (edited) @Spark-Plugin Thank you! Unfortunately the error in the syntax is exactly in the code you provided. aka the line below already gives me an error in the syntax document.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", function() { Edited October 17 by Paoletta
