bug with gallery blocks / images not loading

Dear Forum,

I am desperate about a bug, Squarespace has been aware of for the past 9 months and can't resolve it so far!!  They constantly say it has been looked at etc...but nobody gets back to me properly.

Wherever I have a gallery block, images are not loading, or only after pressing the refresh button. This is both true for mobile and desk-top. I have built my webpage with around a hundred gallery blocks (I have 400 pages within my webpage). This means my page is not working, and my business is heavily affected.

Gallery block means also slide-shows are not working. The funny thing: The problem occurs not always, and with everyone, but in 80% of the cases.

Has anyone experienced this too? I am on 7.0.
Squarespace says it also affects pages that have migrated from 7.0 to 7.1.

Hi there, would you mind to share your site URL, is this the issue prevent images from loading on Slideshow gallery block?

If you added custom code to your page, try temporarily disabling it to see if that fixes the issue.
