Is it possible to customise text for each category instead of globally?

So i'm working with an SEO guy who really wants to customise the text on each category page to help boost traffic. 

He works on other sites using magento which he says this is possible and is a big win for their traffic. 

For some reason on squarespace the only edits I can make are global ones across the whole shop page for category.

For example when I sell Mid Century furniture, my category page specifically for Mid Century has to include overview text relating to every other category we sell. 

Surely this can be changed?
