Nanette Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Hi! My SSL certificate is showing as unavailable. I've been through the troubleshooting steps (to the best of my ability) and waited over 72 hours. My domain name is hosted by a third party provider and is connected: https://www.nanetteregan.com/ If I visit my site in an incognito window and double click the name it is showing as https. But if I follow the link from my domain name dashboard I get this message: Your connection is not private Attackers might be trying to steal your information from nanetteregan.com (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards). Learn more about this warning net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID So I don't know what my visitors are seeing. I'm intending to add a store but don't want to make it live until I have the SSL certificate definitely in place. Does anyone know how I can fix the SSL certificate issue? Also, if I transferred my domain name over to Squarespace would I no longer have issues with connecting my domain name and the SSL certificates being unavailable? (For context I've had SS site for 11 years and have issues now and again with the domain connection and SSL. I wasn't too worried when I was using it as a portfolio site only but now I want to add a store I need to be sure everything works and is secure) Thanks so much for any help you can offer!

It is working correctly for www.nanetteregan.com where SSL and HSTS are enabled and the certificate is available. Please check your DNS records as you appear to have configured a CAA record blocking the certificate for the root domain. Nanette 1 Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. Nanette Posted October 11 Author Posted October 11 Thank you so much @paul2009 for that super-speedy help! I've tried that, I'll give it another 72 hours and see if it works!
Nanette Posted October 16 Author Posted October 16 Hi @paul2009 I removed the CAA record that I'd added after going through the squarespace troubleshooting guides. It's not helped with getting the SSL certificate issued. Is there something I should be adding in the CAA record section? Thanks so much for your help!
