Adding links to videos

On my client's website, I want a page that acts as a portfolio page for their videos. I want the videos to be in a gallery and to be clickable to take the viewer to the page with just the video. Since Squarespace does not allow you to link a page to a video, I have found a workaround. I have arranged each video individually and placed a transparent button over them, linked to the video's page. I previously did this with a GIF which Squarespace allowed me to link to a page, but the quality of the max GIF size allowed was not up to my client's standard. So far, my workaround is usable but not ideal, and my client would like to be able to add to it going forward but has found my method to be too confusing. Are there any other ways you would go about this?

Hi, could you share your current implement on the website so we can understand it better? are videos currently hosted on video/course page?
