more nav space when using centered header

When using the centered header, the space for the navigation is pretty constrained. I really don't want the nav items to split into two rows on smaller screens.

Looking for code to make that space bigger. 

I think this should be pretty easy, but I can't find the right element using inspection tools. Thanks!
