ursula Posted October 7 Posted October 7 (edited) Site URL: https://goldentutoring.com I just finished a website and Google shows a sitelink "Folder" in the search result that is actually a dropdown on the website. It goes to the first page underneath the dropdown, so it's functional. The page title, navigational title and slug show the correct name in SS as "Who we help". I know the sitelinks are picked by Google and I don't think I can change this. But it really shouldn't show up under the name "Folder". Is this a SS bug or can I modify this in SS? Sifat_SEOSpace Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Hi @ursula, I'm glad to help you. I understand your concern. Below, I've added a few insights that might be helpful: I've searched your website. This folder isn't showing on my search. According to my experience, this happens due to the search intent (I'm not sure). This comes from the navigation menu and most popular pages. You can try to remove them from the navigation. Would you mind applying this on your end and letting me know? @Collaborada, Yes! Circle members need to upvote this request. ursula Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 Thank you @Collaborada - I upvoted the issue. @Sifat_SEOSpace you are right, first I see a simliar list as you are showing, but if you click on the "more results from....", then you get to the screenshot I attached showing the "Folder". Alternatively, if you search for golden tutoring site:goldentutoring.com you will see it too. Collaborada 1
ConnorCF Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I'm having a similiar issue. A website I created: https://www.covecompliance.co.nz/ comes up with "Folder: Services" and "Folder: About" on the links in Google search results (see screenshot attached). I've tried to update/change this on the SEO tab, but it doesn't say 'Folder' anywhere, so I can't figure out how to remove it. Any thoughts?
