Section in only one page is incorrect and uneditable

I'm making a basic portfolio site for a client, and have gallery pages set up. Each page has a Contact section at the bottom, but one page is not working properly, and I can't figure out why.

-----Page url & password removed------

If you look at any of the other pages, you'll see how it should look. But this one page insists on being different. I've re-done it a number of times, I've copied other pages and reinserted the gallery section. I've rebuilt from scratch and added the gallery section. I've tried all kinds of things, but it always reverts to having a couple of sections that I can't edit or delete.

You'll note how many images are here, and I really, really do not want to have to retype all the captions, which is why I am hoping it's not a problem with my gallery section.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be going on?

Weird, here are screenshots of the gallery on the page in question. One is near the top of the page, with the gallery section. The other is the bottom, where the Contact section is/should be. I know that contact info is there, but it is supposed to be styled like other gallery pages should be. As it stands now, I can't edit it, or delete it.

SO, anyway.... the client has decided NOT to have that info at the bottoms of the pages, so, I'll be changing them. Thanks for the help, and if anyone has an answer to the issue, I'd like it for next time.

The URL you had originally was not the same as the one for the page you show in your second post. That would explain why I didn't see a gallery.

On the Animals & Birds page I can see there is a rendering error which might explain why it is not working as expected.

This indicates syntax errors in custom code.

One error is in a gallery caption.

<i>Chairman Of The Yard #2<i><br>graphite, 10" x 7"

It should be...

<i>Chairman Of The Yard #2</i><br>graphite, 10" x 7"

I generally don't recommend putting HTML into fields SS hasn't marked as specifically for HTML. These can burn you now, as in this case, or later when SS fixes those fields to no longer accept HTML. If I were to tackle this issue I'd use JavaScript to process the field content in some way to get the desired output .

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the help.

I've used SS 7.0, and never had problems with the galleries in that version. I was shocked that those options were not available in 7.1.

I'm no coder, and wouldn't even know where to start with using Javascript. Will do some searching for those answers tomorrow. 🙂
