anchor links in footer not staying lined up when I'm not in full page

When I don't have my page fully opened, my anchor links fall oddly out of line. I worry it would do this on a tablet/iPad.  I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. It always indents at the same place -- 'Staff and Board'. I even tried completely retyping all of my anchor links and it did it again.  I know that text will move oddly to fit the space ( like my exclamation point in 'Saturday!'), but it's just weird how that one link is what moves out of line when it still has plenty of space.

The problem is you have some strange stuff going on with your formatting.
After the history link you have 4 non-breaking spaces and empty spans. Did you copy the text from elsewhere or something before you added it? To create the desktop layout?

Have a look what happens when I paste the text here:

GETTING HEREUPCOMING EVENTS APPLY TO VEND OUR HISTORY                STAFF & BOARD SEARCH

See that massive blank space between history/staff? It seems you may have used tab or space to create the space. And the website is rendering that.

Regardless, if you just remove the formatting except for the links it'll disappear. Get rid of all the styling and put "search" in a separate text block.

OR style the whole thing with CSS rather than trying to deal with just the gaps.
