dhfarm
Issues with changing the DNS, no help from chat or email support. We transferred our domain from our current website providers into our account here, since Google took it over. When the transfer completed, it should have stayed pointing to our current website on dealerspike BUT was pulling in a Spaurespace holding page when visiting the URL. The DNS records showed DealerSpike's Nameservers BUT had a note above it stating it was pointing to Squarespace. I do not know why this was changed during the process of the domain transfer. I then tried changing the DNS to our new host for the website, SiteGround and it would not let me. During that process, I was forced to keep the DealerSpike's DNS and the note above change "You are using custom nameservers for DNS resolution" Since then, I was able to add the SiteGround Nameservers but not able to delete the DealerSpike's. Our website is down and I am not able to get help from Squarespace and have not been successful of finding an answer here in the forum ... HELP!!! Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
I see your site is up. The DNS are Squarespace's Google Servers and your site is on Google Cloud. I hope this is correct. https://dhfarmequipment.com/ Link to comment
dhfarm
I added a few records to point to my hosted website. It got it working. I would still like to fix the DNS. Still waiting on support. It's not allowing me to remove the old nameservers. Link to comment
