How do you take data from a source page and pre-populate a form

New to square space and created a website using SP templates. Did some searching but couldn't find any solutions. I have a list of art work, with each piece having a stock number. On the description page I want to add a "Get a Quote" button but I want the stock number of the piece carried over to the form. So the only thing I want the customer to provide is their contact information.

Is there anyway to do this.

Artwork - Form are on same page or different page?

Different pages. Idea is, I show a piece of art, which has a stock number, customer clicks on it and the quote form opens up in a new tab. Which has fields such as; name, phone number etc. which the customer has to provide, but the stock number should be carried over from the previous page.
