I switched from Shopify and tried to make my website go live today. 1. Domain address/URL Tennyco.com 2. Where is the domain hosted? Squarespace? A merged Google domain? Go Daddy etc? Purchased with Google Domain but now merged with Squarespace 3. Where is your website hosted? This is now an important question due to Squarespace's purchase of Google Domains. Hosted with Squarespace 4. Is your Squarespace or third-party site active and published? Yes! I appreciate any help you can provide!
derricksrandomviews Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Your domain DNS A records are pointed to Shopify. You need to access your domain management panel, choose the DNS, then disconnect the domain from Shopify, and load the Squarespace defaults.

I did disconnect it from Shopify - I logged back into the Shopify account to double check and this is what it's showing me when I click on 'domain'. Can I delete the DNS A record from the custom record instead since nothing is showing in Shopify?

DrQuit Posted September 21 Posted September 21 (edited) Hi @derricksrandomviews, I am having the same problem my domain was migrated from google domain, "Your domain drquit.info has expired This domain expired on Sep 20, 2024 and is no longer active. Check that your payment information is correct and renew your domain to keep it active on your site." I created an account like I was told, they requested a passport for confirmation, I think I set up the test site with payment like they said. Ive sent many emails to support, but no response Now none of my emails work and the accounts are created under are expired. It now says the domain is expired even though all payments have always been valid. I tried contacting @squarespace help on X with no answers. I run a medical clinic and patients cant receive emails, we will lose the company in a few days if this cant be resolved soon can you help please? Edited September 21 by DrQuit
