Is there a way to make gallery slideshows auto-scroll like a marquee block?

On one section of a page I'm building, I have a full width slideshow gallery set up that I'd like to have automatically scroll (like a text marquee), set to loop infinitely.

Is there a way to do this that will also give me the option to do it selectively (as in, only on certain slideshows I designate)?

I don't believe there is a native Squarespace feature that functions exactly like a text marquee, but you could get pretty close with a plugin like Super Autoplay Slideshow ➡️ (affiliate) there is also a GIF from GhostPlugins that shows it in action.

It comes with a lot of handy features, including:

• Autoplay (with an adjustable timer)
• Transparent header
• Looping slides
• Custom text alignment, size, and colors
• Adjustable slideshow height

You can also turn autoplay on/off, so it’s easy to apply selectively to just the slideshows you need.
