Credit Cart statement title.

Recommended Posts

I recently had my domain renewed, and the charge was applied to my credit card. Although Squarespace sent an email, I receive so many emails every day that I missed the notice about the upcoming charge. As a result, I didn’t see the message and only noticed the charge on my credit card, listed as ‘SQSP INV:12345678,’ which didn’t clearly indicate it was related to my Squarespace domain. Thinking it was a fraudulent charge, I disputed it and canceled my card. Later, I realized the mistake, which caused me a lot of trouble. I don’t think it would be difficult for Squarespace to include a clearer description like ‘SQSP: Renewal of example.com’ instead of a vague invoice number. I don’t know if anyone else had a similar experience, but this seems like an easy fix for a company like Squarespace to make life easier for its customers.
