A Tale of Two Domains

To anybody who may be able to help:

I have two websites and an individual domain for each of them. I'm currently paying for both using the same payment method. I'd like to delete one site and its contents AND its domain. For some reason Squarespace is making it very difficult for me to do that. I've been through tons of resources online, and I still can't seem to figure it out. I have the domain I want to get rid of set to expire (I've turned off auto-renew), but it won't actually expire until July. What if I want to get rid of it sooner? I have no plans to update the site and I don't want to keep paying every month for a site that I'm not using anymore. I can't seem to find any option in my account that lets me either delete the site or cancel the domain (preferably, I'd like to do both). Any thoughts?

You can't delete a domain early, but you can disconnect it from any website it is pointed to. You can delete a site, but if it has no domain I would turn off auto-renew and let it expire.
