Caption Copy Doesn't Show on Initial Load of First Project

Hello, I very recently updated my website and switched to a new template: Flatiron to Lange. Overall I love what I've created. The only thing that is currently bothering me is that my first project's intro copy doesn't appear on initial load. On all of the other pages the copy does. I have hacked the look a bit and have used the first image's caption as the title and intro paragraph on each project. I don't like that the first project "INFINITI" appears blank until you start scrolling. I added a new project to test a theory that the first project no matter what will act this way. When I added a new blank project and "INFINITI" became the second project, the text appears on initial load like the others. WHY IS THAT?

Is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to live with this quirk?
