underline on hover

Hello please i need help 
I added a code to my website to have a feature of not showing underline aside hover on text 
I neded that for my home page alone but unfortunately it affects the text navigation on my header 
I don't want two lines on my header

Are you referring to the active underline?

The extra underline on the navigation 
You can click on works from home page you will see it when you hover
It's double i need it to just be on

There is an active state, but this is not on hover:

If you click on the work page and you hover on works there will be two underline @Ziggy

Sorry, I only see one line appear on hover. As I said before one hover underline and the active underline. Do you not want the active underline?
