Let's Encrypt - Certbot SSL

Recommended Posts

Our website is hosted on a Ubuntu 24.40 server & not here on Squarespace.  i want to obtain a SSL wildcard cert using Let's Encrypt / Certbot.  For the Linux distro, It is a requirement to install the certbot-dns-nsone plugin which then requires you to provide NS1 API credentials in order to obtain the cert.  This is due to Squarespace using NSONE for nameservers (which upon searching for nsone.net leads you to NS1 IBM CONNECT, ).  Unfortunately, this requires an account which was immediately denied when I signed up for it.  Not sure if this is really necessary in order to acquire the API credentials but do wish to know if anyone in the forum has succeeded with this while having their domain hosted on Squarespace.
